Harmony Explained — Why Chord Progressions Work
Harmony mode is a chaptered walkthrough of why chords work: each chord in a key has a job — home, away, or tension — and once you can hear those jobs, progressions stop being arbitrary and start being sentences. The chapters cover the pull of the falling fifth, how thirds stack into every chord you know, why some notes ache to resolve, and how songs change key without losing you.
Every chapter is interactive — graphics you can poke, examples you can hear — rather than a wall of text. Harmony mode is part of ThunderFret Pro; the same core ideas are covered free in the theory guides below, and the mode's value is having them taught in sequence with sound attached.
ThunderFret is built by one guitarist. Something broken or confusing? Tell me — every report is read.
